Steelers Have Even Odds to Lose in First Round of Playoffs
Fan optimism surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers is fading fast following their three-game losing streak and oddsmakers are no different, as they appear to have little faith in the team making an extended playoff run.
The Steelers have even odds (1/1) to be eliminated in the first round of the NFL Playoffs. Pittsburgh is -140 (5/7) to win their eventual first round matchup.
After starting the season 11-0 and clinching their first playoff berth since 2017, the Steelers have suffered three consecutive losses to Washington, Buffalo and Cincinnati.
Pittsburgh is currently the three-seed entering Week 16, and would face the Indianapolis Colts in the first round if the standings at this time were to stay put.
That potential playoff matchup with the Colts would be a rematch for the Steelers, as they are already set to host Indianapolis this Sunday.
