Steelers Injury Updates: Harvin, B. Johnson, Green All Did Not Practice Thursday

Punter Pressley Harvin III, inside linebacker Buddy Johnson and center Kendrick Green all missed practice on Thursday as the Pittsburgh Steelers began their preparations to face the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football.

Harvin is still dealing with the death of his father last weekend. Head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he was unsure if Harvin will be able to return to practice this week.

Johnson suffered a foot injury and missed his second consecutive game last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. The rookie has played in just four gams this season. Starter Devin Bush remains in the COVID-19 protocol. Backup Marcus Allen returned on Thursday.

Green was injured late in the Steelers’ loss to the Chiefs. He was replaced by J.C. Hassenauer, who would be expected to start against the Browns if Green can’t overcome the calf injury.

Tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) and defensive lineman Chris Wormley (groin) were both full participants Thursday after missing Sunday’s trip to Kansas City.
