Steelers ILB Buddy Johnson

Steelers center Kendrick Green, punter Pressley Harvin III and inside linebacker Buddy Johnson all missed practice for the second consecutive day on Friday, putting their status in doubt for Monday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

Harvin hast yet to return to the team following the death of his father last weeks. Head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he was unsure if Harvin would be able to practice with the club this week. Corliss Waitman would handle the punting and holding duties again if Harvin does not return.

Green injured his calf against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and has yet to return to practice. J.C. Hassenauer would be expected to start in his place if he is unable to dress.

Johnson is one of a number of inside linebackers currently unavailable. Starters Devin Bush and Joe Schobert are both on the COVID-19 list, leaving just Robert Spillane, Marcus Allen and Ulysees Gilbert III to man the position.

Tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) was a full participant for the second straight day and seems likely to be able to dress against the Browns.
