The Steelers have ruled four players out for their Thursday Night Football game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Nose tackle Isaiah Buggs, center/guard B.J. Finney, cornerback Joe Haden and inside linebacker Robert Spillane will all miss the trip to Minneapolis, the team announced on Wednesday.

Buggs is dealing with an ankle injury and will miss his second straight game due to injury. He’ll be replaced by a combination of Montravius Adams and Carlos Davis.

Finney is out with a back injury suffered early in the Steelers’ Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He will be replaced once again by first-year lineman John Leglue, who made his NFL debut filling in for Finney on Sunday at left guard.

Finney was already filling in for starter Kevin Dotson (high ankle sprain) and backup J.C. Hassenauer (pectoral), who are on the injured reserve list and backup Joe Haeg, who is on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Haden has been out since the Steelers’ tie with the Detroit Lions in Week 9, when he suffered a left mid-foot sprain. Second-year former undrafted corner James Pierre filled in at first, but he was replaced by veteran Ahkello Witherspoon during the Bengals game. Witherspoon is once again expected to start.

Spillane will miss his second game with a knee sprain suffered against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12. Buddy Johnson joined the active roster on Sunday to help replace Spillane and provide depth along with Marcus Allen and Ulysees Gilbert III.
