Steelers Outside Linebacker T.J. Watt Injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without guard Kevin Dotson, cornerback Joe Haden and outside linebacker T.J. Watt on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, the team announced on Friday.

All three players were injured in the team’s Week 10 tie with the Detroit Lions and none participated in the team’s three practice sessions this week.

Haden has a mid-foot sprain that is thought to be less serious. James Pierre will fill in for Haden. Watt has left knee and hip injuries. Taco Charlton will start at left outside linebacker. Dotson is expected to miss multiple weeks with a high ankle sprain. Either B.J. Finney or J.C. Hassenauer will likely replace him.

Fellow guard Trai Turner missed Wednesday’s practice, but was a full participant on Thursday and Friday and is good to go. Wide receiver Chase Claypool, who missed the Detroit game with a toe injury, was a full participant in practice on Friday and is expected to play.
