Steelers Injury Updates: WRs Banged Up with James Washington, Ray-Ray McCloud Out

PITTSBURGH – The Steelers receivers are still very banged up only three days away from their matchup against the Eagles in Philadelphia.

James Washington missed his first practice after exiting Sunday’s session with an apparent knee injury. He was wearing a sleeve around the right knee that was supposedly injured. Ray-Ray McCloud did the same, as he missed his second straight practice with a right knee injury.

Antoine Brooks Jr. continues to miss time. It was his third straight missed practice as he sported sweatpants on the field on Monday. Brooks had a heavy wrap around his left hamstring during practice on Sunday.

Benny Snell Jr. and Kalen Ballage both missed practice on Monday. Ballage has not practiced since the Hall of Fame game after suffering a lower-body injury. Meanwhile, Snell has been on the sidelines for over a week now. Snell was doing some light jogging and working on the exercise bike on Monday.

T.J. Watt and Stephon Tuitt continue to be brought along inch by inch. Both were working off the side and were doing the bare minimum for most of the day.

Chase Claypool had a moment in practice where he appeared to be spiked and hobbled off. Luckily, he returned to the field and was in later team sessions. JuJu Smith-Schuster had a short day. He worked in seven shots but did nothing else after that. It appeared to be a rest day rather than an injury for Smith-Schuster.
