Joe Haden Donates Pizzas to Staff at UPMC

It’s always nice to see some goodness shine through in the midst of so much negativity. This weekend, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden was responsible for some much needed positivity.

Haden donated 600 pizzas to the staff at UPMC Presbyterian. While he had actually planned to offer the gesture anonymously, and the call to Sciulli’s Pizza was simply placed as from a Steelers manager, Eutimio “Tim” Sciulli wanted the world to know this happened because of Haden.

Once he realized his actions had been exposed, Haden joined in by quoting a tweet about it with an emoji of two hands praying.

Haden, who dealt with injuries since joining the Steelers before the 2017 season, played all 16 games in 2019. He’s continuously voiced that he would like to finish his career in Pittsburgh.

Selfless gestures like this make Pittsburgh very happy to have him.
