Steelers QB Kenny Pickett

Not only was Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett the first at his position selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, but he is also currently now the favorite to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

Pickett is +500 to take home the award at season’s end, according to updates odds posted this week by FanDuel.

A pair of wide receivers have the next best odds behind Pickett in Atlanta’s Drake London and Tennessee’s Treylon Burks, who are both +700. Atlanta’s Desmond Ridder has the second-best odds for a quarterback at +1400.

Immediately after the class was selected, Pickett had the second-best odds behind London.

Drafted with the 20th pick back in April, Pickett put up record numbers in his final season at neighboring Pitt, as he threw for 4,319 yards and 42 touchdowns. While Pickett will be competing with the recently signed Mitchell Trubisky for the Steelers’ starting job, either quarterback will be surrounded by a plethora of weapons on a loaded Pittsburgh offense.
