Steelers LB Vince Williams Leads NFL in Tackles for Loss

PITTSBURGH —- Following the first play of the Steelers week 5 game against Philadelphia, LB Vince Williams now leads the NFL with 9 tackles for a loss, which is the most over the first four games of a season in franchise history. Its also tied for the sixth most in the League since 1999, according to the Steelers Communications Manager Michael Bertsch.

In the team’s first 3 games of the season, Williams totaled 14 total tackles, 12 of them being registered as solo, and 2 sacks. The 30-year-old linebacker was drafted by Pittsburgh in the 6th round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Florida State.
