While Pittsburgh Steelers fans are still buzzing about Kenny Pickett’s return to Heinz Field, the excitement continued at Longue Vue Club in Penn Hills in as offensive lineman John LeGlue holed out on the par-3 12th hole for an ace.

LeGlue’s ace was the first of his career, as he successfully fired his 8 iron 187 yards into the hole and called his achievement “surreal.”

For his part, LeGlue also signed his scorecard, which not only showed he fired a 69 on a course which last year was part of the opening U.S. Amateur rounds, but also had both of his playing partners names on as attestors, thus confirming LeGlue’s ace at Longue Vue, a tongue twister of its own.

The 6-foot-7 lineman made his NFL debut Dec. 5 of this past season following B.J. Finney’s injury and was part of a victory over the Baltimore Ravens. He made his first career start four days later. Before his time with the Steelers, LeGlue, a Tulane alum also had brief stints with the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers.
