Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt is already one of the most decorated defensive players in the NFL, but he just may have achieved his biggest accomplishment yet.
Watt popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Dani Rhodes early this summer and shared pictures of their engagement late Thursday night.
“I am the luckiest man in the world,” Watt captioned the post.
Watt may be an NFL Defensive Player of the Year candidate, but Rhodes is quite the athlete in her own right.
Rhodes, who played soccer at Wisconsin, was named a Second-Team All-American, First-Team All-Big Ten and the Big Ten Forward of the Year in 2019.
She now plays forward for the Chicago Red Stars of the NWSL alongside her future sister-in-law Kealia Watt, who his married to J.J.
“Now, let’s plan a wedding,” Rhodes said on her own Instagram.
