The Steelers have opened as narrow underdogs on the road for the first time this season when they travel to Cleveland on Thursday.

The Browns started out as 2 1/2-point favorites against the Steelers, Pittsburgh was a six-point underdog in each of its previous three road games this season.

The Steelers went 2-1 against the spread as road underdogs and won outright against the Los Angeles Chargers in on Oct. 13.

They’ve fared slightly worse as a favorite this season, going 2-2 against the spread by covering against the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts, but failed to cover against the Miami Dolphins and lost outright to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Steelers are 5-3-1 against the spread in total this season and have covered in three of their last four games.

Cleveland is 2-6-1 against the spread, coming off a push as three-point home favorites against the Buffalo Bills.

The Browns are 1-3-1 against the spread as favorites this season. The over/under total for the game went off at 40 points.
