Steelers Open as 4.5-Point Favorites over Seattle Seahawks

The Steelers have opened as 4.5-point favorites for their Week 2 home opener against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 21-20 on Sunday afternoon while the Steelers suffered a 33-3 defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots.

The Steelers went 5-3 at Heinz Field last year and were 6-2 on their home turf in 2017 and 2016.

The Seahawks won the last meeting between the teams, 39-30 in 2015. The Steelers won the last two contests in Pittsburgh, 24-0 in 2011 and 21-0 in 2007. The last Seattle win at Heinz Field came in 1998.

The Steelers were 5.5-point underdogs at New England and are 0-1 against the spread this season. The Seahawks were 9.5-point home favorites against Cincinnati and are also 0-1 against the spread this season.
