The Pittsburgh Steelers had the 10th most engaged female fans during 2021, according to Bookies.com.

The website used a social listening tool called Linkfluence, which measured discussion online around each NFL team by both men and women from Dec. 2020 to Dec. 2021. The tool created two categories of each team, total female engagement and positive online sentiment (women vs. men).

In the category of total female engagement, the Steelers tied for 10th with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 17.0% in this time frame. This means that for all online discussion surrounding the Steelers, 17.0% of it was from female fans.

The second category determined how positive these posts were between women and men. Female Steelers fans had 27.0% of their posts as positive compared to 20.0% of male fans. The Steelers ranked 27th overall in the NFL during this period, the sixth least positive fan base.

The Dallas Cowboys ranked first in both categories and were also had the most engaged fans from the ages of 18-34.

The Detroit Lions had the least amount of female fans engaged at just 9.7% and the Houston Texans were the least positive, including 23.2% of female posts as positive and just 14.1% of male fans.
