The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed offensive tackle Anthony Coyle on the waived/injured list, the team announced Wednesday.

Coyle suffered an injury in practice on Saturday, and sat out Monday with what head coach Mike Tomlin described as a stinger.

Coyle spent that majority of the 2020 season on the Steelers’ practice squad, and signed a reserve/futures contract with the team earlier this offseason.

He has had previous stints with the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans.
