Pittsburgh Steelers Practice Report

UNITY TWP., Pa. — The Pittsburgh Steelers had their third training camp practice of 2024 on Saturday at St. Vincent College, and Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith of Steelers Now were there to break it all down. For the third straight day, starting quarterback Russell Wilson did not participate in practice, with Justin Fields leading the first-team offense. But this time, Wilson did do some individual work, and he does appear to be closer to making a return.

Fields continued to have up-and-down play, with the Steelers’ defense dominant in seven shots and certainly ahead throughout the day. Roman Wilson stacked his second strong day among the Steelers’ receivers. Off the field, George Pickens spoke to the media for the first time this training camp and addressed his relationship with new wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni, among other topics. Finally, the Pittsburgh Steelers inducted Casey Hampton, Jason Gildon, Willie Parker and Dick LeBeau into their Hall of Honor Class of 2024. All that and more in today’s Pittsburgh Steelers Practice Report.
