Steelers Put Joe Schobert on COVID-19 List, Down Both Starting ILBs

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed inside linebacker Joe Schobert on the COVID-19 reserve list, the team announced on Friday.

Schobert and fellow starting inside linebacker Devin Bush are both on the COVID-19 list, leaving the Steelers with backups Robert Spillane and Marcus Allen for that team’s practice session on Friday.

Behind them, Ulysees Gilbert III will serve as depth, with rookie Buddy Johnson also out with a foot injury.

Schobert went on the COVID-19 list on Friday, along with defensive lineman Chris Wormley and practice squad defensive lineman Daniel Archibong, making 11 Steelers players impacted by the virus.
