Steelers’ Ramon Foster Out, James Conner Doubtful vs Colts

Steelers guard Ramon Foster and running back Benny Snell, Jr. are out for this Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, while running back James Conner is doubtful and fullback Roosevelt Nix is questionable, according to the team’s injury report, released on Friday.

Foster remains in the league’s concussion protocol after leaving the Steelers’ Week 8 win over the Miami Dolphins in the first half. Snell is expected to miss two to three weeks after undergoing surgery on his meniscus this week.

The Steelers were hopeful that Conner, who has an AC joint injury, would be able to play this week, but he did not practice at all this week and is unlikely to suit up. Jaylen Samuels will make his return to action after missing two games after his own knee surgery and Trey Edmunds will back up.

Nix was a knew addition to the injury report on Friday, as he was limited with a knee injury. He had just returned to action on Monday night from a knee injury that caused him to miss five games.

The Steelers do not have another fullback on the roster, though defensive end Tyson Alualu has filed in. At guard, B.J. Finney will replace Foster.
