Report: Steelers-Ravens Postponed Again, Now Scheduled for Tuesday Night

The Pittsburgh Steelers Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens will be rescheduled once again, with the game tentatively scheduled for Tuesday night, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The game was originally scheduled for Thursday night at Heinz Field, and had already been rescheduled once to Sunday afternoon at 1:15 p.m.

Now, the Steelers and the Ravens will play the first Tuesday night game in Heinz Field history. The kickoff time has not yet been announced. The game will likely still be broadcast on NBC.

The games’ continued postponement is a result of continuing positive COVID-19 cases in the Baltimore organization. The Ravens have had at least 13 players test positive this week, including four more from PCR tests that were returned on Thursday and one from a point-of-care test on Friday.

The NFL could have chosen to take incremental steps, moving the game back to Sunday night or Monday night, but instead jumped straight to a Tuesday night kickoff.

What Happens if Steelers-Ravens Can’t Be Played Sunday?

If the game is unable to be played on Tuesday, it would be rescheduled for a Week 18, with the NFL Wild Card, Divisional and Conference Championship playoff games all pushed back a week.
