Steelers RB Najee Harris Accomplishes Career Best Rushing Performance

PITTSBURGH – To cap off an historic Monday night against the Browns for Najee Harris, he ends up setting a new single game best for yards. Harris’ previous best was 122 yards on 23 carries against the Broncos in Week 5.

The Steelers rookie running back, who is now the holder of Pittsburgh’s franchise rookie record for rushing yards in a single season, currently sits at 143 yards on 25 carries late in the 4th quarter for an average of 5.7 yards per run.

While a season full of benchmarks and records is tough to argue as anything but successful from an individual perspective, Harris has had to endure an up and down season, mostly due to playing with a banged up and inexperienced offensive line. This has resulted in Harris averaging 3.7 yards per carry.
