Steelers Re-Sign WR Tyler Vaughns, DB Linden Stephens to Practice Squad

The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed wide receiver Tyler Vaughns and defensive back Linden Stephens to their practice squad Friday.

Both has been released on Wednesday, Dec. 8 ahead of last week’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

A rookie out of Southern California, Vaughns was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts earlier this offseason. He had been on the Steelers since Sept. 7, but had not appeared in a game.

Vaughns recorded 222 receptions for 2,810 yards 20 touchdowns over four season at USC.

As for Stephens, he has been with the team since Oct. 13 before being released on Wednesday. He has spent time with eight NFL teams, and originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati in 2018.

In corresponding moves, the Steelers terminated punter Drue Chrisman and long snapper Rex Sunahara from their practice squad.
