Steelers Run and Walk Will Return Labor Day Weekend

Runners rejoice!

The Steelers Run and Walk 5K is making its return to the North Shore this Labor Day Weekend after it was held virtually last year.

The race will be held on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 8 a.m., as participants will start on North Shore Drive and finish on the playing surface inside Heinz Field.

Participants will receive an event t-shirt, goody bag and finisher medal upon completion of the race.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund and Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.

“Steelers Nation truly represented last year with participation from all over,” Lynne Molyneaux, Alumni Relations Manager for the Pittsburgh Steelers, told Running USA. “It was incredible to see participation from 15 countries, and as excited as we are to bring participants back to a start line at Heinz Field this year, we are equally as excited to see more of Steelers Nation join in from around the world again.”
