Very Limited TV Distribution for Steelers-Saints This Sunday

Steelers Nation is out of luck on Sunday, as the Steelers-Saints game will only be featured in the Pittsburgh and New Orleans TV markets or surrounding areas, according to 506 Sports. The game, which will kick off at 1 p.m. from Acrisure Stadium, will be broadcast locally by WPGH-TV.

With the 2-6 Steelers taking on the 3-6 Saints, it comes to no surprise that it won’t be televised nationally. Add to the fact that it’s a non-conference game, it’s really not that appealing.

FOX won’t have a marquee broadcasting crew announcing the Steelers-Saints game, as Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth and Kristina Pink are on the call.

Outside of Pittsburgh and New Orleans, the only other NFL market carrying the game will be Cincinnati. Steelers fans in the Harrisburg, Pa. and Charleston, W.Va. markets will get to see the game. Most of the rest of the country will be seeing the Minnesota Vikings at the Buffalo Bills in that time slot. Out of town Steelers fans can purchase DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket to watch games.

In the late afternoon time slots, Pittsburgh fans will get the Indianapolis Colts at the Las Vegas Raiders game on CBS and the Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers game on FOX.

The Thursday Night Football game on Amazon Prime Video features the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. Sunday morning will have a bonus national game, as the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will kickoff from Munich, Germany at 9:30 a.m. on the NFL Network. The Los Angeles Chargers are at the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football on NBC (WPXI). The Washington Commanders will take on the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football on ESPN.
