After an unexpected trade, the Steelers used the 10th selection in the 2019 NFL Draft to select Michigan linebacker Devin Bush.

In three seasons at Michigan, Bush racked up 172 total tackles, 10 sacks, 11 passes defended and one interception.

Bush was a heavy fan favorite for the Steelers to draft. The Steelers traded their 2019 first-round pick, 2019 second-round pick and 2020 third-round pick to the Denver Broncos to get the No. 10 pick and select Bush.

Bush’s sideline to sideline ability to make plays, and drop back in pass coverage should bode well for his abilities as a middle linebacker in the Steelers’ 3-4 defense.

Bush is expected to come in and start right away, as Kevin Colbert finally found his replacement for Ryan Shazier.
