Steelers Sights & Sounds: Minkah Fitzpatrick Dressed at Practice on Thursday
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick works at practice at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, just days after undergoing an appendectomy.
Head coach Mike Tomlin did not rule out Fitzpatrick from playing when he spoke on Tuesday and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said Thursday that Fitzpatrick will play if he is cleared by doctors to do so.

Tomlin did not specify what steps must happen in order for Fitzpatrick to be cleared when he was directly asked on Tuesday. Fitzpatrick worked out before practice on Wednesday, but was not listed as a participant in the team’s official injury update. He would likely need to participate fully in Friday’s practice in order to be able to play against the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.
