Steelers Sights & Sounds: Russell Wilson Still Limited, No Warren/Patterson
PITTSBURGH — Quarterback Russell Wilson was scheduled to participate more fully in the Pittsburgh Steelers first practice of Week 5 on Wednesday, but he was still limited in his movements while working on handoffs with the team’s running backs before practice.
At running back, Najee Harris was in action after having two straight Wednesdays off, but he was flying alone without Jaylen Warren or Cordarrelle Patterson.
Isaac Seumalo was with the first team at left guard, sparring with newcomer Max Scharping.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was optimistic about the return of veteran Seumalo for Sunday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
“Excited about the potential of having Isaac back … real shot to make it this time,” Tomlin said during his Tuesday press conference.
Jeremiah Moon was back at practice at outside linebacker, but without Nick Herbig.
