Steelers Sign CB Joe Haden to 2-Year Extension

They took it to the deadline but the Pittsburgh Steelers and Joe Haden got it done.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first report that Haden and the Steelers have come to an agreement on a 2-year, $22 million extension. According to Schefter, Haden receives a $16.8 million signing bonus.

Haden was in the last year of his deal so his agent Drew Rosenhaus and the Steelers have been working on this extension since the start of training camp.

Since signing with the Steelers in 2017, Haden as been the teams best cornerback. In three years with the Steelers, the 30-year old has appeared in 39 games.

Haden has publicly stated his desire to remain a Steeler and tonight he got his wish.
