Steelers Special Teams Coordinator Danny Smith Cleared to Coach vs. Ravens

Steelers special teams coordinator Danny Smith has been cleared to return to coaching and will be on the sideline with the team hosts the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday afternoon, the team announced late Wednesday morning.

Smith, who is 67 years old, reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 last week, with the news coming out on Saturday. It’s unknown when exactly Smith tested positive and if he was symptomatic.

Quarterbacks coach Matt Canada, whose positive diagnosis was also revealed on Saturday, has already returned to the team.
