The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Chicago Bears in Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season on Monday Night Football, Steelers Now has confirmed. The game will kick off at 8:15 p.m. from Heinz Field.

News of the game being scheduled was first reported by Danny Parkins of 670 The Score in Chicago.

The Bears have won three straight against the Steelers, winning 23-17 in overtime in Chicago in 2017 and 40-23 in Pittsburgh in 2013. The Bears own the overall series between the teams, 19-7-1.

Chicago is coming off an 8-8 season, and has replaced quarterback Mitchell Trubisky with Andy Dalton and first-round pick Justin Fields from Ohio State.

The game is the second prime time game to be reported for the Steelers at Heinz Field this season, following a Week 6 Sunday Night Football game against Seattle.

The Steelers played on Monday Night Football twice in 2020, beating the New York Giants in their season opener and losing to the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 21. The Steelers are 48-24 all-time on Monday Night Football and 27-5 at home on Monday nights.

The only game officially announced so far is the Steelers’ Week 1 trip to Buffalo. The full schedule will be released at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Reported Steelers schedule:

Week 1 at Buffalo Bills
Week 4 at Green Bay Packers
Week 5 vs Denver Broncos
Week 6 vs Seattle Seahawks (SNF)
Week 9 vs Chicago Bears (MNF)
