Steelers to Host Family Fest Practice at Heinz Field on Aug 4

One of Pittsburgh’s favorite nights will make its anticipated return.

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Wednesday that the team will be hosting Family Fest at Heinz Field on Sunday, August 4. Tickets will cost $10 per person.

This year’s Family Fest kick off at 4 p.m, with gates to the practice opening at 5:30. The Steelers will begin practice at 6:30.

Fans will have a multitude of family fun activities, including the opportunity to have their pictures taken with all six of the team’s Lombardi Trophies. Steelers legends Rod Woodson and Merril Hoge are also scheduled to appear as well.

Family Fest will also offer the opportunity to win sideline passes to the practice via the team’s mobile app, among other various prizes fans are able to win.

During the events, the Steelers will be holding a swearing-in ceremony for the US Army. The organization will also recognize Western Pennsylvania High School Football Coaches, and prior to the start of practice, players will be escorted on the field by Special Olympic athletes, and first responders.
