Steelers Two-Touchdown Favorites vs. Bengals, Even after Losses

The Pittsburgh Steelers are on a two-game slide, but the gambling experts still expect them to win big over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night,

The Steelers (11-2) opened as 13-point favorites on the road at Cincinnati (2-10-1) on Monday, according to odds released on Sunday, and even after the Steelers dropped their second straight game to Buffalo on Sunday night.

Pittsburgh is 8-5 against the spread this season, but has failed to cover in two straight games and three of five. As a favorite, the Steelers are 6-4 against the spread. When favored on the road, they’re 2-1. They’ve been favored by more than 10 points three times previously, covering the margin just once.

The Bengals are 7-6 against the spread, but have also faltered as of late. Cincinnati has failed to cover in two straight games and in four of their last five, all of which were outright losses.

As a double-digit underdog, Cincinnati has failed to cover twice. The Bengals have been home underdogs five times and are 4-1.

The total for the game is set at 40.5 points. Kickoff from Paul Brown Stadium is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Monday night.
