The Steelers have waived safety Kameron Kelly and promoted Marcus Allen.
— Pittsburgh Steelers (@steelers) December 20, 2019
This move was announced Friday afternoon soon after news broke that Kelly was charged with resisting arrest and making terroristic threats following an incident at a bar in Pittsburgh’s South Side area.
Kelly started for the Steelers in week 1 prior to the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. Kelly had success in the now defunct Alliance of American Football league before signing with the Steelers.
