PITTSBURGH — Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster left his team’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with a rib injury and will not return, the team announced.

Smith-Schuster left the game late in the first half and was replaced by Ray-Ray McCloud in the Steelers’ lineup. White was a game-day activation from the practice squad for Week 3.

The Steelers were already playing without starting outside receiver Diontae Johnson, who missed the game with a knee injury suffered in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Cody White was elevated from the practice squad for the game against the Bills.
