Study: Steelers Have Fifth-Most Fashionable NFL Team Apparel

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the fifth-most fashionable NFL brand from an apparel standpoint, according to a study by The Action Network.

The survey gathered social media data from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for one year and categorized nearly a half-million posts about major sports teams and fashion apparel.

The Dallas Cowboys were the most popular team overall, followed by the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Cleveland Browns.

The Steelers were No. 15 overall and fifth among NFL teams, behind Dallas, Cleveland, the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. Steelers rookie running back Najee Harris has been among the NFL’s best-sold jerseys this season.

The NBA is the most-fashionable league, followed by the NFL and MLB. No hockey or soccer team cracked the top 20. The New York Yankees, Washington Captials and L.A. Galaxy led their respective leagues.
