The Madden video game franchise has unveiled their ratings for some of the NFL’s top edge rushers, including Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt.

Watt is rated a 94-overall in this year’s version of the game, which slots him as the third-best edge rusher in Madden 22.

While Watt was snubbed with just an 86-overall rating upon the release of last year’s game, he appears to finally have received the respect he deserves from the Madden staff

Watt finished as the runner up for NFL Defensive Player of the Year a season ago, but has already earned three consecutive Pro Bowl nods and back-to-back First-Team All-Pro selections over his career.

He led the league with 15 sacks and 23 tackles-for-loss in 2020. Watt also paced the NFL with eight forced fumbles in 2019.

The only edge rushers ranked ahead of Watt are Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and Chicago Bears defensive end Khalil Mack at 98 and 96, respectively.
