PITTSBURGH — Though the Pittsburgh Steelers had near full attendance at their first mandatory minicamp session at Heinz Field on Tuesday, several Steelers players were less than full participants.

Right tackle Zach Banner, who is still recovering from offseason knee surgery, was not wearing a uniform. Neither was right guard David DeCastro.

Head coach Mike Tomlin declined to discuss DeCastro’s situation, and also did Not elaborate about Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster not completing practice when asked.

“None concerning,” Tomlin said. “None whatsoever. I don’t talk injury in great detail this time of year. I’m not required to do so. But rest assured, if I thought something was significant, I would address it with you guys.”

Inside linebacker Devin Bush, who had his ACL surgery one month after Banner this offseason, was in uniform and performing individual drills after being somewhat limited during OTAs.
