The Pittsburgh Steelers love bloodlines and had a glaring need at cornerback, so it was only fitting that they selected Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. at 32nd overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Porter Jr.’s dad, Joey Porter Sr., was one of the leaders on the Steelers’ Super Bowl XL championship team and ranks seventh on the franchise’s all-time sack list with 60. Steelers Nation, along with current and former players love the fact that there’s another Porter in the Black and Gold who will continue the family legacy.
