The Steelers’ offense did not have a great first half, but they ended it with a great two-minute drive. Kenny Pickett led the team down the field in five plays for a touchdown drive, and it ended with an 11-yard connection on a wheel route to Benny Snell.

The throw was very similar to a play to Jaylen Warren last Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks. Throughout the drive, it was all about Pickett’s ball placement. He hit Pat Freiermuth on a gorgeous 24-yard connection up the seam. In that drive as well, Pickett connected with Diontae Johnson for two catches. One should have been a touchdown, but was called back by offsetting penalties.

For the Steelers offense, Kenny Pickett provided a sort of spark they needed. It showcased his continued growth throughout the offseason. Thus far, Pickett is 6 for 7 with 76 yards and a touchdown. The Steelers lead the Jaguars 7-6 at half time in Jacksonville.
