Najee Harris has been the recipient of a significant amount of fanfare since the Steelers drafted him in the first-round of this year’s NFL Draft. As Pittsburgh anxiously awaits to see how the former Alabama star performs at the NFL level, the city continues to hype up the running back.

Local artist Cody Sabol recently took to Twitter to show his excitement by making a fingerpainting of Harris in just 14 minutes.

Just a few hours after the video of the painting’s creation debuted on Twitter, Harris himself offered his thoughts on Sabol’s work.

Prior to this piece, Sabol has painted Pittsburgh athletes such as Troy Polamalu, former Penguin Colby Armstrong and much more.

As for Harris, his NFL debut could be just one short week away if he makes an appearance in next week’s Hall of Fame Game against the Dallas Cowboys. Over the course of his time at Alabama, Harris had two 1,000 yard rushing seasons and rushed for 46 touchdowns.

Harris has made news recently for wearing the yellow/green wristband that signifies that the player is currently unvaccinated for COVID-19, but as of yesterday, Harris was no longer sporting the band.
