Watch: Mike Hilton Trolls Steelers Fans after Bengals Get Win at Heinz Field

PITTSBURGH — When it comes to the Steelers-Bengals rivalry, there aren’t a lot of players on both sides of it.

The Bengals, going through a youth movement over the last few years, don’t have a ton of players that have come from any other NFL team, and the Steelers are notoriously selective when it comes to signing free agents.

But one of the few players that have been in both locker rooms got the last laugh on Sunday.
Cornerback Mike Hilton, who signed a four-year, $24 million free agent contract with the Bengals this offseason, trolled Steelers fans by waving goodbye to the Heinz Field crowd in the waning seconds of the Bengals’ 24-10 victory. He then repeated the gesture on social media.

Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase said that Hilton was instrumental in leading the team from an emotional standpoint.

“He gave us a speech,” Chase said. “He’s been here. He knows what their mindset is. He know what our mindset is. He was just telling us what we should expect coming into this game.”

Hilton had five tackles in the game. The Steelers have attempted to use a number of players to replace him, including using more linebackers in pass coverage, as happened on Tyler Boyd’s first-half touchdown.
