Pro Football Hall of Famer Franco Harris announced the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception, and it is hard to dream up a more momentous pick for him to deliver.
“This is incredible,” Harris said. “Oh my gosh.”
Harris struggled to contain his excitement even further from that moment on.
“Hello Las Vegas. Wow. I love this. I love this,” Harris said of the Steelers’ pick.
Harris then went on to announce former Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett as the team’s selection, marking the first time they have drafted a quarterback in the first round since picking Ben Roethlisberger eleventh in 2004.
