Watt Brothers Create Scholarship to Honor Late Grandfather

J.J., Derek and T.J. Watt have created a scholarship at their alma mater in honor of their late grandfather Jim, who passed away in February of 2014.

The Grandpa Watt Scholarship will be awarded to a Pewaukee high school athlete with at least a 2.75 GPA that has been active in the community and displayed excellent sportsmanship.

A Korean War veteran, Grandpa Watt was known as Pewaukee’s No. 1 fan, and was even bestowed an honorary jersey to signify his diehard fandom.

He was a mainstay at all sporting events involving his three grandsons, and was apparently always the loudest fan in attendance.
