Steelers Colts Monday Night Football

The Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, Nov. 28 will be broadcast locally by WPXI, Channel 11.

The NFL’s “Monday Night Football” has been broadcast nationally by ESPN since 2005. The NFL requires national broadcasts that are not available over the air to be carried by broadcasters in local markets.

WPXI also carried the Steelers’ “Thursday Night Football” game against the Cleveland Browns earlier this season, and regularly broadcasts the Steelers’ appearances on “NBC Sunday Night Football,” including in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins.

The 4-6-1 Colts and the 3-7 Steelers are both far on the outside looking in of the AFC playoff picture, and a loss in Monday’s game would likely be a death knell for either team’s chances of making it to the NFL postseason this year.

Kickoff on Monday night is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Lisa Salters will have the broadcast.

The game will be the third of four nationally-televised contest for the Steelers this season. They will play the Las Vegas Raiders on NFL Network on Dec. 24. The Steelers are 0-2 in prime time so far this season, losing to the Browns in Week 3 and the Dolphins in Week 7.
