Steelers First Team to Cash Preseason Win Total Bets
If you made an offseason bet for the Pittsburgh Steelers to exceed their preseason win total, Sunday’s result likely made you a winner.
Most sports books had the Steelers projected to win nine or 9.5 games this offseason. The team, of course, crossed that line on Sunday by improving to 10-0 with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
According to odds posted by CBS Sports Line in August, the Steelers are the first team to pay out on a season win total bet for 2020. The Miami Dolphins won their sixth game in Week 10, tying their preseason mark of six wins, but were unable to push through in a 20-13 loss to Denver on Sunday.
