Players, Coaches from around NFL Attend Darryl Drake’s Funeral
Steelers wide receivers coach Darryl Drake was laid to rest on Saturday in Tennessee, and his friends and colleagues from decades of coaching in the NFL and in the collegiate ranks made the trip to pay their respects.
Many NFL players, coaches and executives made the trip, despite being in the midst of their own preseason schedule.

Fitzgerald was excused from practice by Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury to speak in Drake’s honor. The Browns’ game against the Indianapolis Colts started at 4 p.m.
The Steelers play the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Heinz Field.
