A game with a healthy share of intrigue for both the Steelers and the Jets — and possibly the United States of America. Would the switch from Justin Fields to Russell Wilson at quarterback pay off? (Yes). Would Aaron Rodgers and the newly acquired Davante Adams rekindle their chemistry? (No). To take things to the next level, former President and current Republican Party Presidential Nominee Donald Trump was in attendance, presumably to root for the Jets.
Trump may have left disappointed with the Jets performance, but a prime time NBC audience got to watch Russell Wilson make history for the Steelers and dispel at least some of the worries of Steelers Nation.
