Afternoon Drive: What We’ve Learned From First Week of Steelers OC Search
Welcome to the Steelers Afternoon Drive, our new daily podcast featuring all the latest Steelers news.
Alan Saunders and Zachary Smith are back to discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers continued their offensive coordinator search by bringing in Houston Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson for an interview. The up and coming offensive mind worked under Bobby Slowik this past season and worked under Kevin O’Connell in Minnesota prior. Between Johnson, Zac Robinson, Thomas Brown and Kliff Kingsbury (maybe), what if any tendencies can we pick up on about the team’s search? Will the Steelers have any issue hiring outside candidates due to money/power? That seems to be a take that some have, that we can’t seem to grasp. That along with a perceived ego issue of Mike Tomlin are pretty out there takes that we try to sift through. Let’s go for another Steelers Afternoon Drive and discuss!
