After six years of doing just everything for Pittsburgh Sports Now and the Sports Now Network of websites, I am very happy to be able to focus on one thing going forward, as the editor and beat writer for the Pittsburgh Steelers here at Steelers Now.

I’ve been covering the Steelers and running this website since 2019, so there won’t be a ton of dramatic changes, but as a journalist, I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to pour myself into one thing and doing it really well after years of doing everything and anything.

It helps that it’s one of the most important beats in the country. I think I’ve covered almost every sport there is in my time as a sportswriter, but I feel like I’ve hit my professional stride focusing more on football these last few seasons, and I’m very happy that I’m going to be able to continue that work at the highest level. The Steelers are a national brand, and I’m excited about continuing to connect and build relationships with fans of the Black and Gold from Pittsburgh and around the globe.

It’s a fun time to be covering the Steelers, with a new general manager, a new starting quarterback and a fresh energy to the team, and I can’t wait to report to training camp and dive right in.

We’re launching SN+, where you can get access to some of our exclusive articles and insight and support the coverage of our team, and it will include access to PHN and PBN.

Under the leadership of Dan Kingerski, I think we’re building a coverage group for the Pittsburgh pro sports market that rivals any out there, and I am very excited to have my byline alongside John Perrotto’s once again, with him heading up Pittsburgh Baseball Now. Between our team here at SN, John, Dan, Shelly Anderson and Dave Molinari, we have an awesome crew and I can’t wait to see where it can go.

I would be remiss if I did not thank Mike Vukovcan and Joe Steigerwald for giving me a chance and an opportunity to do so many fun and creative things over the years. I will still be involved behind the scenes with our college coverage, and I’m very excited about what Karl Ludwig will bring to the Pitt football beat. More at PSN.
