All Three Steelers Preseason Games Get National TV Broadcasts
NFL Network and NFL+ will carry all three Pittsburgh Steelers preseason games nationally this coming season.
All three Pittsburgh Steelers preseason games will be broadcast live nationally on NFL Network, the league announced on Tuesday.
The Steelers will host the Houston Texans at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, the Buffalo Bills at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 and visit the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24. The team had previously announced that all three preseason games will be broadcast on KDKA-TV in the Pittsburgh market. The games are subject to blackout on NFL Network in Pittsburgh. Those without a cable subscription to NFL Network can separately purchase NFL+ to watch the games.
NFL Network does not usually produce the preseason games it broadcasts. The NFL has not announced which broadcast feed the league will pick up for national distribution.
In total, NFL Network will air 21 preseason games over 11 days, including two quadruple-headers that the Steelers will be part of on Aug. 17 and Aug. 24.
