CLEVELAND — Browns inside linebacker Anthony Walker was carted off the field after a scary hit as his leg caught under him during a shovel option play on Thursday Night Football.

Walker immediately laid down on the grass face down after a hit that left him rocked and trainers immediately rushed onto the field. Steelers right tackle Chuks Okorafor hit him with his left hand and Walker immediately snapped his body snapped back, and that led to a scary injury. It appeared his left leg was rolled back and he did not move after it.

Walker sat up and his left leg was immediately put into an air cast. He was transported off the field immediately with trainers. Walker gave the thumbs up as he exited the field, but the scary injury was severe enough that it forced trainers to rush him into the locker room as quickly as possible.

With Walker seemingly down for the rest of the game and likely longer, it will be Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Jacob Phillips, and Sione Takitaki that will have to carry the load moving forward. it is a scary injury and one of the unfortunate injuries that can happen in the game of football.

The Browns have officially listed him with a knee injury and he is out for the rest of the game.
